Two Words: FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS
Can we take a minute and talk about the strength in female support ??
Let me first begin saying I knew I always wanted to become a real estate agent but I thought I would live in North Bay and I would help my childhood friends, teachers, coaches and family members buy and sell real estate. That all quickly changed when my partner, Matt, got hired with the Waterloo Regional Police Service and we bought a home in Cambridge. I do LOVE Cambridge, but as a young entrepreneur that knew roughly 6 people in the area … you could say I was a bit stressed.
A year later, I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be where I am. First, I do need to give credit where credit is due, to my second family at The Zahnd Team but right now I am focused solely on the female entrepreneur lady gang I have found in this community. Don’t get me wrong, I love my male entrepreneur's too, Emerson at Proactive Training, is an absolute inspiration and great supporter of mine and Rob at South Central Sausages is one of the hardest working individuals I have ever met, and is crushing the sausage game! But I am here to talk about my ladies!!!
There is absolutely no chance I can sit here and name every woman that has supported me on this journey, but you know who you are and I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. From Meredith Wolf, who I met on Facebook Market Place buying a bed frame from to now building me a website and blog and owner of My Wolf Design. Carlie Walker who always keeps my body physically and mentally inline, and is an incredible chiropractor at Walker Chiropractor, and who is always showing me so much love on social media. To Sarah White, from The Girl Floral, who opened a lifestyle and flower boutique in downtown Galt, and I honestly meet new people all the time who tell me, “The girl from girl floral told me i HAD to follow you!” thank you, thank you, thank you.
To name a few more, and I encourage you all to check out their Instagrams,
Miranda Drexler - My personal female support team at The Zahnd Team who is completely crushing her goals and is truly one of the hardest workers I have ever met. She drives from London to Guelph DAILY for her clients!
Being an entrepreneur, in a community I was not born and raised in has been an absolute rollarcoaster but because of these ladies, and many more, their support, and this community, I know I have this, and I am so excited for the future to help each other grow!
So, if you are new to Cambridge, K/W area, let me know, I would love to grab a coffee with you and introduce you to some pretty incredible people and local businesses.
